My fren woke me up fr my sleep this morning and exclaimed excitedly that my face is on The Sunday Times.

After 5 years in a regional engineering sales job, Ms Wang Shuying was thinking of switching to a career in finance when she learnt of the Master of Finance programme offered by SIM-RMIT.
"I was looking for a more specialized programme which would give me a good foundation in Finance and I felt that this programme was able to offer me that. I was also looking for something on a part time basis which I can do locally, and was glad that this programme is available in Singapore," explains Ms Wang.
Having to juggle a part time master's programme with a full time job did not stop Ms Wang, who already has an honors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, from becoming the top student in her cohort. She attributes it to discipline, prioritization, good time management, great lecturers and supportive coursemates.
Ms Wang, who has just graduated this month, is now working as a senior relationship manager at DBS Bank Ltd.
"This programme has definitely helped me in my career as it has given me a good foundation to do a better job," she says, "I was able to better appreciate the training provided during my current job and that puts me in a better position to analyze my customers' financial situations and recommend suitable products to meet their financial needs."
Woot. :)
