From My Work Table...
Blogging from office now. It's been a peaceful day so far (*touch wood*) and so, I decided to make an entry.
Transferring up to Level 6 Regional Office so far since 1st June, has been a rather new and challenging experience for me. How should I put it down in words? Hmmm. Its been liberating. I probably have to get used to travelling and racism being part of my life soon enough. Haa. Talk about extreme racism for me in the past. Ppl do change - cos of the environment.
However, transferring up to Regional - I have the downs for it. Why? Cos I'm totally desk bound and freedom restricted. No more "geng-ing", coffee beaks, long lunch breaks, in-between sneaking-shopping, etc etc. Argh. I'm like a bird locked up in a cage. So not used to this at all lor!
1.5 more months to my "back to schooling days". Kinda looking forward to it. Though I foresee that I'll be damn busy la. But it will be enriching and fulfilling.
I'm also thinking of signing up for a Belly Dancing class. Dun laugh. Yah, I know it sounds weird and funny. But.. Dunno leh, still contemplating abt it.
Received a call from an old friend yesterday morning. Totally unexpected. Turned out that he had an appt wif my marketing dept yesterday afternoon, thus calling me to check if I'm still working here. Yes - was my reply. Arranged for a coffee meet up, at my pantry that is (Read: I'm freedom restricted). Half an hour was all it took - To update each other in the shortest possible time. It was really very nice and nostalgic meeting up wif old friends. Reminisced abt the good ol' days in NTU..
Yeah, I miss boo and hui too. In fact, I miss
that gang..
When I was at Sri Lanka last week wif my colleague, he kept asking me "Are you happy?". First of all, what are the factors that contribute to whether "Am I happy or not?". I gave it some thought, pondered over a few moments..
Nope, I wouldnt say I am happy. But I would say my life is fulfilling now.
