Though I left with an unsettled heart and mind for this trip, I'm glad everything turned out fine back here in Singapore - Well, not in my kind of optimal situation though. But what can I expect...
Turned out to be a rather rejuvenating trip. Had our fair share of fun taking loads of pictures, exploring all ways and angles, making use of whatever lighting was possible. Still liked the blurry effect that the lens allowed me to take... =)
Here's an overview of the resort pictures.
I seriously LURVEEE the juice station every morning at the buffet breakfast spread. They really had like quite a good choice of fruits for us to choose.. And me, being a fruit juice lover.. Really had my fill of vitamin C during the stay over there.. Hehee. Thumbs up!
The variety of food that we had. Forgot to take some of the nice food photos.. This is all that I can manage. =(
Lounging and lazing by the infinity lap pool. Playing wif the water, trying to capture it on the camera. Think I kanna another bout of sun-tan! =(
Wakeboarding. Something that I never thought I can do it. Cos I really have this ultra phobia and fear of the fish and the sea creatures. Seriously, I'd rather you put me into a cage of tigers and lions then you throw me into an aquarium filled wif fishes and eels. Yes, thats the kind of analogy that I can give you.
But I've really been wanting to try out wakeboarding for damn long. Decided to walk out of my phobia, and try it for once, since I've had my fair share of tries at cable ski. Thought that it wouldnt be much of a problem staying afloat on the sea waters as well. Turned out not that bad though.. The fella told me to jump into the sea waters to wear the board to start off.
I went like.. "WHAT? JUMP?!"
"YES! JUMP LA! YOU'RE WEARING A SAFETY VEST, CAN FLOAT ONE.."
I know can float ma.. Its not that I'm afraid of sinking ma.. Its the fish that I'm afraid of la.. =(
Tried to ride the waves wif failed attempts (hehe). But each time I fall into the waters, I really wish the boat would come and pick me up fast enough.. =(
Another thing, the salt water was VERY overwhelming.. I feel myself soaked in salt. Tearful for the eyes too..
Attempted to do some studying back in the room. What a way to "relax" at a resort getaway..
Well, not much progress as expected la.. Gotta catch up from tomorrow onwards.. I'm really running out of time.. =(
Some of the "Whites" pictures taken under the sun..
A new thing that I've never done before during a holiday - Yoga. The resort had complimentary yoga sessions every morning smacked right by the sea. Really a very nice and liberating experience, to be doing yoga at the platform, listening to the waves hitting the rocks below you, and at the same time embracing the sea breeze.. I heart it!
Another camwhoring session after the yoga session...
Some of the "Blacks" photos taken at the UncleLimRestaurant.. Lurvee the orangee tungsten light effect! Even his cousin was so amazed and impressed at the effects.. =)
Lounged by Emerald Bay.
Until we were abit bored, so we decided to do something different - Star Jumps. Hehe. Got us pretty embarassed when the rest of the holidaymakers are suntanning and lazing around and we were there jumping up and there.. Hehhe.
Then it was time to bade farewell to the island and return to reality in Singapore.
I'm glad that the pictures were taken nicely by you and much fun has been explored and done wif..
"the memories of the beaches still lingers, though the footprints on the sand have been washed away..."
