OMG. Andrew Lloyd Webber actually has sequel to his 1986's hit The Phantom Of The Opera. It opened 9th March in London last year and had its global launch on 8th Oct 2009.
I'm so excited. POTO has always been my favorite musical, and I simply adore his musical works. Something on the background...
POTO has proved a huge success over the world and has been seen by more than 100 million people, making it the single most successful entertainment entity in history. It has been translated into 15 languages and performed in more than 25 countries, including Singapore (Yes, I was there!) It has also won a staggering 50 awards worldwide while the global album sales currently stand at 40 million copies - Yes. Thats how astounding the figures are.
The sequel, Love Never Dies, continues the story of The Phantom of the Opera, who has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fair grounds of Coney Island, far across the Atlantics.
I'm really crossing my fingers that the whole cast will come to Singapore soon! Or bring me to London pls! Heh. Meanwhile, I shall occupy myself with the cd soundtracks and dvd video first!
