Taipei Diary 3 - 九份

Headed down to 九份 on the 3rd day of our trip. It's a really cosy nice old place, walking along the streets of 老街... Traditional authentic place - a must go!

And they have very interesting shops.. like the one above..

and this as well...

The way they brew coffee is also unique! Something that I don't think I'll ever see in Singapore... But the iced coffee wasnt fantastic though. Felt that it was too bitter...

We walked till we were tired. And decided to find a nice and cosy 茶屋 to rest our feet and to catch our breath... Thus, nestling at this place called 九份茶坊.


Initially the waitress guided us to the outdoors..

Again, the weather was really unbearable. We were sweating, and there's no way we can enjoy drinking tea in such a weather.. We decided to move indoors..

Which was so much cozier! The interiors were really intricate and china-style...



We settled in a separate individual chamber.. Nice! A must-go place! :)
