Taipei Diary 4 - Taipei 101
Sunday, July 10, 2011

Visited Taipei 101 also. My personal comments - A really boring place. If not for the fact that its an iconic place, ie. top 10 tourist attractions - we wouldnt have went there...

@ the entrance of Taipei 101.

We even bought the tickets to go to the top floor, hoping that there would be fantastic views and exciting stuff to take photos.. We were wrong. Sigh. And the tickets weren't cheap! If I'm not wrong, each adult ticket costs NT$400. And we were only up there for like 15 min?

There was a stand that said it was the world's fastest lift...

View from atop. See - Its really nothing fantastic at all... :(

This was probably the cutest thing up there.. They had displays with the 101 face, replicating over the Taipei 101 building..

My personal take? Its just a drop-and-go place. Don't have to buy the tickets to go up for the view...
