Finally met with up with Ivy babe @ Five&Dime at Robertson Quay. Nice little cosy white place nestled beside the busy buzzing road. Feels good sipping over coffee, by the white window panes, while watching cars whizz past. Good catching up session with her!

Headed down to Awfully Chocolates further up Upp Thomson Road for some sweet delights. I thought it would be a totally crowded place, but it turned out only 2 tables were occupied! I guess, its more of a take-away outlet then to sit in.. We had the whole place to ourselves!

Yeah. Look forward to exploring more of such cafes! :)

Met up with the Daikin ex-colleagues last night at Suntec City Kuishin-Bo. It's amazing that we guys still do meet up once in a while even though it's been 4 years since I left there... :)

It's been a really busy week, starting off last saturday with the bday celebration with the peeps @ China One. RXSG found that there's this place having FREE FLOW of shots/drinks @ CQ for a flat charge. Perfect reason to drinkkk...

Then I was invited back to my POSB branch for a celebration. Turned out the ex colleagues actually celebrated my bday in surprise! I was totally caught off guard and lost for words.

Then, it's onto a new adventure with the current colleagues... The 4 of us (Yes, its a very small batch) had our fair share of rubbish and enjoyment, not forgetting the times when we really mugged for the 4 exams in a week - wasn't an easy feat lorrr.

Went to the Morton's @ Mandarin Oriental on Friday after work. Woohoo. $12.90 for a Choco Martini, and we enjoyed free flow of steak sandwiches from 5-7pm. I find the place a tad too dark though.. But anyways, gotta be there early to get a table...

Was being introduced to Victor's Kitchen @ Sunshine Plaza during lunch with the colleagues. Highly recommended - 奶茶 and 流沙包! The 4 of us chalked out to a total of $70 bill. Zzz.

And then, I was being brought to this place @ The Cathay after a quick lunch. I really can faint lor. I am never a "games" person. And I think I have reflex coordination problem when I play Wii. Haha. But anyways, still a good session!

The most ultimate one. We actually went to buy Monopoly Deal during lunch on Friday, and we spent the rest of the day playing it... My goodness.

Yup, kudos. So much so for my bday week! It's another year whizzed past just like this. It's on nights like these when I gaze up into the sky and wonders...

As I count down the number of remaining days with DBS, I find myself starting to miss this group of amazing colleagues. It was a crazy night with the colleagues @ Partyworld Liang Court.

I was the target for the whole night. Their primary aim - to make me drunk.

Me and Joanne. I never expected the colleague-ship between me and her to proceed on to friendship. Someone who came out drinking entirely because of me. Someone who cried because of me. Someone whom I will really miss throughout my stint in POSB Yishun Central.

You guys really rocks. It was a crazy night, and we all had lotsa fun together. I'm quite sure we will still keep in touch in the near future :)

Yesterday marked Vern's last day in Daikin. Had our routine lunch at AMK Jack's Place - courtesy of Chng's treat. 

We had our fair share of complaints, tears and laughter together in Daikin. Used to be my best buddy in Daikin, always keeping a lookout for one another, sharing our load of work together harmoniously. She still remains the only person who had access to my lappy's password and stuff. Not forgetting the fact that she taught me and made me got used to all those hokkien vulgarities! Haa. Started work together on 2nd April 2007 - turned out that she left earlier than me. Its been 2 years 3 months and still counting. When will it be my turn? 

Anyway, putting all the ugly and disappointing matters aside, I still do wish her all the best in her future endeavors in her new company. Gave her a hearty hug yesterday before she left, and tears still did flow down. After all, it has been a good 2 years plus working alongside with her. All the best - Vern. =)

The one from the colleague E. "If anything u don't know how to use, u know the magic numbers to call". He came popping by my desk at 6th flr yesterday.. And reminded me like 10 times not to open the package until I am on board the plane. But then, being the itchy fingers me, ya la.. I opened it up just now. I'm really stunned. 

What seemed like a present, turned out to be a medical box. My goodness. And all of them are tagged wif yellow post-it notes wif comments on it lorr. 

Things that I didnt expect to be put in. Seat Covers for hygienic purposes? 

And tadaaa... A pink bear and pink roses from within the pink box. Yah, I like pink la.. =) Above all, I felt it was really a very sweet gesture from a girl fren. Thanks babe, I really like this gift alot.. xoxo.

On top of this, I actually went roller blading at East Coast Park after work today. Yes, on a blue monday (but I was brightened up by the pink gifts though.. ;p). The last time I bladed? Guess it was 6-7 years ago le ba.. Time to pick it up again!
